Capel Court Rose Bowl

Earlier in the week the ladies had contested the Capel Court Rose Bowl. Jan McLellan continued her good form and won with a net 70 (gross 90 less handicap of 20). Second place went to Jodi Rutherford on count back from Joan Horner, both ladies having returned net scores of 72. The Kirby Course medal was won by Rosemary Rouse on count back from Maurice Smart with Tracey Rutledge in third place. The result is all the more impressive as Rosemary has only been playing golf for a short time and this represents her first season in competitions.
