On Christmas Eve, in the annual men and ladies matchplay competition where the people who live inside the gates challenge those living outside, the ‘outs’ emerged victorious by a landslide 10 matches. Perhaps it’s advantageous to reside outside the gates after all.

The men played a cross-country stableford over 9 ‘holes’ on Boxing Day. Craig Robinson, a guest, won it with 20 points. Craig is the grandson of Philip Robinson, Frinton GC’s former President. Chris Hemingway was in second place on count back with 19 points. And Mitch McAuley finished 3rd also with 19 points.
