Louise Taggart wins Fiona Edmond Trophy

The Frinton Golf Club ladies always face a stern challenge to win the Fiona Edmond Trophy as they play 36 holes in one day. Whether this helped the youngest person in the field to victory is open to debate, but Louise Taggart’s scores of 83 and 88 gave her a total 171 which was four shots better than second place Marie Ellis on 175 (85 and 90). Third home was Mary Strutt with 185 (88 and 97).
