Rose Trophy

On Tuesday 16th June, the ladies of the Kirby Course contested the Rose Trophy. The result demonstrated wonderfully how competitive golf can be enjoyed irrespective of how long you have been playing. The Rose Trophy was won by Tracy Taylor with a score of 52 (gross 83 less handicap of 31), who only took up golf 18 months ago, edging out Imelda Branwhite on 54 (gross 87 less handicap of 33) who joined Frinton Golf Club 26 years ago. Third placed was Jane Quick with 59 (92 – 33).
